[Also in Division F1] The first of a plurality of liquefied gas storage containers 110, 111, 112 arranged in series has a filling conduit 114, a liquid discharge conduit 140 extending from the lower portion through the container top, the last container 112 in the series has a vapour vent duct 122 and each container other than the last is connected to the succeeding container by a conduit 120, 121 respectively extending from the upper portion to the lower portion of the next. A valve 124 in the vent duct 122 remains open during filling which is effected through the first container and each succeeding container. Liquid is dispensed from container 110 which becomes refilled by passage of liquid from the succeeding containers 111, 112 through ducts 120, 121. The gas space of each container is also connected to that of the succeeding container by ducts 142, 144 having check valves 146, 148. Safety valves and bursting discs 30, 32, 34, 36 (Fig. 1, not shown), are also provided.</p> |
