The present invention relates to a method for producing a powder coating composition. The method includes the steps of: producing polyester polyol by condensing and polymerizing alcohol in which aliphatic alcohol and naturally-derived propylene glycol are mixed and a first polybasic acid in the presence of a catalyst; producing polyester resin by making the produced polyester polyol react with a second basic acid; and producing the powder coating composition by mixing the produced polyester resin with a curing agent, pigments, and additives.
