Golf club heads with protrusion weights and related methods

A golf club head with a body and a protrusion weight 120 extending from a sole 111 or skirt 117 of the body at the heel end 113 of the body wherein the centre of gravity of the weight 120 is external to the body and moves the centre of gravity of the club head towards the heel end 113. The club may be a driver, fairway wood or hybrid and may have volumes which are largely equal either side of a geometric centre of the body. The weight 120 may be used to increase a hook spin and decrease a slice spin on a ball in use. A range of weights, volumes and moments of inertia are provided for the club head.
