Method and device for the processing of postal mail sorting data

The method involves sorting and/or processing relevant data objects for sorting postal items. The result of processing of data object is transmitted from a data processing system to another data processing system for additional processing of data objects. A clear identification label of the data objects is included in the result of processing of data objects. The latter system determines the attribute of the data objects based on the definition lists. The additional processing of the results of processing of data objects is implemented in the former system based on the attribute. An independent claim is also included for a device for sorting of postal items.
