Disclosed is an apparatus for assisting the operation of a brake for a vehicle. The disclosed apparatus comprises a bottom connecting member and a pedal fixing member. By having one side fixed to the interior bottom surface of the vehicle and having the other side connected to a brake pedal and capable of being stretched and contracted, the bottom connecting member is capable of filling a gap between the brake pedal and the interior bottom surface without interference in the operation of the brake pedal. The pedal fixing member fixes the bottom connecting member to the brake pedal. The bottom connecting member fixed to a shaft member body, which forms the brake pedal, by the pedal fixing member is capable of being contracted when the brake pedal is pushed by a driver, and is capable of filing the gap by being stretched to be restored to the original shape thereof along with the brake pedal when an external force applied to the brake pedal is removed to return the brake pedal to the original position of the brake pedal. Therefore, an obstacle such as a beverage can be prevented from penetrating the gap, so interference in pushing the brake pedal can be prevented. |
