The present invention relates to a method of controlling a fuel cell vehicle which enables a large capacity bidirectional converter of the fuel cell vehicle to monitor a state of the fuel cell vehicle in real time to improve control responsibility during a transient state of the fuel cell vehicle. The method of controlling a fuel cell vehicle according to an embodiment of the invention is a method of controlling a fuel cell vehicle, which comprises a fuel cell system, a high voltage battery, a bidirectional converter for controlling a flow of energy between the fuel cell system and the high voltage battery, and a fuel cell controller for controlling an overall operation of the fuel cell vehicle, comprising: a step in which the bidirectional converter receives an instruction on a current limit value from the fuel cell controller during an operation of the fuel cell vehicle; a step in which the bidirectional converter determines whether the fuel cell vehicle is switched to a set mode; and a step in which, when the fuel cell vehicle is switched to the set mode, the bidirectional converter autonomously changes the current limit value instructed from the fuel cell controller to perform a set control process based on the changed current limit value. |
