A battery cell according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an electrode assembly which includes an electrode tab, an electrode lead which is directly or indirectly connected to the electrode tab, a pouch case which receives the electrode assembly by sealing a frame region when the electrode lead is withdrawn to the outside, and a disconnection device which connects the electrode tab to the electrode lead in the pouch case and blocks a current by a disconnection according to a temperature or pressure rise in the pouch case. According to the present invention, the use safety of a secondary battery is secured by including an overcurrent blocking function in the battery cell and high efficiency is obtained in an energy density side by not requiring an additional space occupied by the disconnection device installed in the battery cell. |
