<p>The present invention relates to a data streaming method and an electronic device executing the method. More specifically, the data streaming device is employed by the electronic device to adjust the size of a streaming buffer while receiving multimedia data through streaming. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device, which plays the multimedia contents through a streaming service, includes: a communication module communicating with an external device; a memory which stores map data for a dead communication spot; and a controller which acquires the location information regarding the current location, determines the entry to the dead communication spot based on the map data and location information, receives the streamed multimedia content data through the communication module, and adjusts the size of the streaming buffer.</p> |
