The present invention relates to a transformer including a transformer core (50) including at least three core limbs (62) arranged in parallel for each other, and perpendicularly arranged on a corner point of a basic area spanned by polygon, wherein the core limbs are transferred to each yoke segment (12, 14, 16, 64) arranged in horizontal direction for the same on both sides on two axial direction end areas for each of the same; and main windings (22, 32, 34, 38, 40, 44, 46, 66, 68, 62) arranged around each core limb (62) on a hollow cylidrical winding area for each case, wherein the magnetic cross section of each core limb (62) is larger than the magnetic cross section (110) of each yoke segment (12, 14, 16, 64). For each case, additional windings (24, 36, 42, 48, 70, 84) electrically connected to each main windings (22, 32, 34, 38, 40, 44, 46, 66, 68, 62) are provided, and the same is arranged around each assigned yoke segment (12, 14, 16, 64). |
