Provided are a non-aqueous electrolyte including an allyl triethoxy silane as an additive, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The allyl triethoxy silane additive forms a stable film on the surface of a negative electrode so that the lithium secondary battery including the non-aqueous electrolyte additive inhibits gas formation which can be generated by decomposition of the electrolyte at high temperature. Accordingly, life property of the battery can be improved. |
