<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for re-registration when a session processing function is disordered, a method thereof and a computer-recordable recording medium storing the method. The apparatus includes: an interface unit and a control unit. The interface unit is configured to transmit and receive messages. The control unit is configured to, when a registration update request message requesting a registration update of a user device is received through the interface unit, and when a fault of a first serving call state control function (S-CSCF) assigned to the user device is confirmed, obtain, from a home subscriber server, capability information described with capabilities that need to be offered to the user device, select a second S-CSCF based on the capability information, and transmit the registration update request message to the selected second S-CSCF. According to the present invention, even when a failure occurs in a first S-CSCF assigned to a user device in a registration procedure, reliability of a service may be improved by proceeding with a re-registration procedure normally through a second S-CSCF.</p> |
