<p>The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for updating an image. The method for updating an image comprises the steps of: receiving an image, and metadata which is associated with the image and includes stroke information; detecting the stroke information included in the metadata; displaying a stroke on the image based on the image and the detected stroke information; detecting an input to the stroke; updating the stroke information included in the metadata based on the detected input to the stroke; and displaying the stroke on the image based on the detected input to the stroke. Therefore, only an image region desired by a user may be updated.</p> |
