A disk drive unit comprising: a rotor, including a sleeve, and configured to rotate a disk accommodated within a disk accommodating space and set thereon; a fixed body, including a shaft body, and configured to rotatably support the rotor; a fluid dynamic pressure generating part provided between the fixed body and the rotor; and a plurality of ring-shaped members, provided in an overlapping manner along a direction of a rotational axis of the rotor within a space that communicates the disk accommodating space and a gas-liquid interface of the lubricant, and covering a gap between the rotor and the fixed body, wherein the gas-liquid interface of the lubricant is formed between the shaft body and the sleeve, wherein a tapered seal in which a gap between the shaft body and the sleeve gradually increases in a direction towards the plurality of ring-shaped members is provided in a part where the gas-liquid interface is formed, and wherein the tapered seal seals the lubricant by capillarity.
