<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonaceous acoustic matching layer which has a new configuration and which is excellent in chemical resistance, processability and heat resistance.SOLUTION: Particles having high density are mixed into a carbon-containing resin together with a hardening agent using ultrasonic homogenizer, the mixture is heated and cured in a short time, and an acoustic matching layer of acoustic impedance 3 to 8 Mrayl is obtained in which heavy particles are uniformly dispersed into the resin. Moreover, by performing firing and carbonizing of the carbon-containing resin in a nonoxidizing atmosphere, the acoustic matching layer of acoustic impedance 6 to 18 Mrayl is obtained in which the heavy particles are uniformly dispersed into amorphous carbon.</p> |
