<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device of an elevator capable of implementing easily recovery operation to normal operation which is implemented after suppressing door-opened running by reducing the weight of a balancing weight.SOLUTION: In a protection device of an elevator, which is provided in a rope type elevator and in which safety protection is secured by reducing the weight of a balancing weight 4 and suppressing door-opened running when a car 3 would start to rise under a door-opened state, the balancing weight 4 is composed of plural weight parts, an upper balancing weight 6 and a lower balancing weight 7, for example. The protection device comprises: connection means which includes a protruding body 8 and an arm 9 connecting the upper balancing weight 6 and the lower balancing weight 7 to each other; and control means which includes a control device 5 that operates and controls the connection means so that connection of the upper balancing weight 6 and the lower balancing weight 7 by the connection means is released when the car would start to rise under a door-opened state, and an electromagnetic valve 10.</p> |
