PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a transport object to be transported from being skewed caused by moving the transport object by a transport member in an intersecting direction intersecting a transport direction, the transport object having a length in the transport direction equal to or larger than a predetermined specified length.SOLUTION: A transport mechanism includes: a guide member that guides the transport object to be transported. The guide member has a curved portion that is a curved portion of the guide member. The mechanism also includes the transport member that is disposed more downstream in the transport direction than the curved portion to transport the transport object, and that moves the transport object in the intersecting direction intersecting the transport direction. When the length of the transport object in the transport direction is equal to or larger than a predetermined specified length that is larger than a distance from the transport member to the curved portion, the transport member does not move the transport object in the intersecting direction. |
