FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of treating a mammal with endometriosis. The claimed method includes the pulse or interrupted peroral introduction of an N-acetyl-L-cysteine-containing pharmaceutical composition for 3-5 successive days with the following 2-4-day break or for 1-3 successive days with the following 1-2-day break, for at least a two-month time period.
