<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial oriented film for electrical insulation which is composed of a mixture of polyester and a syndiotactic polystyrene and is excellent in self-recoverability.SOLUTION: A biaxial oriented film for electrical insulation includes a biaxial oriented base film and a coating layer on at least one side of the base film. The biaxial oriented base film comprises 10-89.99 wt.% of a polyester, 10-89.99 wt.% of polystyrene and 0.01-10 wt.% of compatibilizer, with respect to the wt. of the base film, and the coating layer contains 20-95 wt.% of at least one of silicone components, wax components and fluorine compounds, with respect to the wt. of the coating layer.</p> |
