PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor drive device of which durability is assured, and which has a small size, a light weight and a good NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) property.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor drive device 21 rotationally drives a speed reducer input shaft 25 having eccentric parts 25a, 25b by a motor part A, reduces rotation of the speed reducer input shaft 25 by a speed reducer B and transmits the reduced rotation to a speed reducer output shaft 28. In the in-wheel motor drive device 21, the speed reducer B includes: curved plates 26a, 26b which perform revolution motion around a rotation axis in association with rotation of the speed reducer input shaft 25; an outer pin 27 which generates rotation motion of the curved plates 26a, 26b; and a motion conversion mechanism which inserts an inner pin 31 held by the speed reducer output shaft 28 into an open hole 30a of the curved plates 26a, 26b and brings the inner pin 31 into contact with the curved plates 26a, 26b via needle roller bearing 31a, and consequently, converts rotation movement of the curved plates 26a, 26b into rotational movement around the rotation axis and transmits the rotational movement to the speed reducer output shaft 28. An outer ring 38 constituting the needle roller bearing 31 has an outer diameter surface 38b on which crowning is performed. |
