PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom of a device with respect to interval arrangement and displacement between its power transmission unit and power reception unit while implementing downsizing and weight saving of the device.SOLUTION: A wireless power transmission system performs power transmission between a power reception unit provided on a mobile body moving on a track and a power transmission unit provided on the track. Each of the power reception unit and power transmission unit comprises a resonant circuit having the same resonant frequency for generating electric field resonance between the power reception unit and power transmission unit when the mobile body stops.
