PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage connection structure capable of reducing irregularity in SAS signal attenuation.SOLUTION: A storage connection structure includes, as signal paths between connectors 50 of an HDD board 21 and control boards 26, SAS-compliant mounting lines 30 arranged fixedly on a backboard 22, a predetermined signal attenuation factor being specified for the mounting lines 30; and SAS-compliant cable lines 31 detachably attached on the backboard 22, the cable lines 31 having a signal attenuation factor lower than the predetermined signal attenuation factor. Each switching IC 53 confirms whether path connection is established by each mounting line 30, and switches the mounting line 30 to one cable line 31 if it is not confirmed that the path connection is established by the mounting line 30.
