<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive waste disposal tunnel capable of preventing cracking and breakage of a timbering which covers the inner peripheral surface of a tunnel.SOLUTION: A radioactive waste disposal tunnel 1 forms a tunnel 11 by digging a natural ground 12, and includes an annular timbering 20 that covers the inner peripheral surface of the tunnel 11. In this radioactive waste disposal tunnel 1, the timbering 20 has a segment 22 installed on the bottom part of the tunnel 11 formed thicker than a segment 22 installed at the other region, and the provision of a crushed stone layer 30 filled with a crushed stone 31 between the timbering 20 except for the bottom part and the tunnel 11 allows even an artificial barrier integrated module heavy in weight to be stably disposed of.</p> |
