The present invention relates to a cutter for stationary purpose or for craft purpose and, more particularly, to a cutter with a snapped blade container, which comprises: a sleeve where a slit unit is placed at one side thereof so that the fore-end of a blade can be projected or be withdrawn; a cutter main body which includes a housing that surrounds the entire sleeve; a blade indicator which is placed inside the sleeve, and allows a user to visually check the projected or withdrawn length of the blade by being exposed to the outside through a gap between guide rails; a back cap which is inserted into the other side of the sleeve; and a snapped blade container which is placed in the inside of the back cap in order to be separated. The provided cutter can collect a snapped piece of a blade into an additional snapped blade container using a magnet when cutting the blade. The snapped blade container can safely treat collected snapped pieces of the blade by being separated from the back cap in a drawer type. The magnet is embedded in one side wall of a collecting unit for storing the snapped blade container, in order to collect snapped pieces of the blade in the snapped blade container. Therefore, when separating the snapped blade container, the influence of magnetism is removed so that the snapped pieces of blade can be easily disposed. In addition, the cutter can prevent accidents by including the blade indicator in order to warn a user using a noticeable fluorescent color when the blade is not completely stored in the sleeve. |
