PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lock mechanism of a seat from releasing a lock state upon front collision of a vehicle with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A bracket 16 extending downward from a front end lower surface of a seat rail 15, is fixed to a floor panel 18, and a slider 20 of a seat 11 is slidably supported to the seat rail 15 and is locked to the seat rail 15 by a lock mechanism 21. A lower wall 26c of a reinforcement member 26 having an inverted U shape cross section is fixed to a lower surface of the bracket 16, and an upper wall 26a of the reinforcement member 26 faces an upper surface of the seat rail 15, so that forward inertia force acts to the seat 11 upon front collision, and when a front part of the seat rail 15 is about to be deformed forward and downward with a connection part with the bracket 16 as a fulcrum, a front end upper surface of the seat rail 15 interferes the upper wall 26a of the reinforcement member 26 for suppressing deformation, and lock release of the lock mechanism 21 and forward movement of the seat 11 by inertia force, can be prevented surely with a simple structure. |
