PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchange resin column in which upflow regeneration is performed and the lower part of a resin layer is prevented from being fluidized without creating a space due to shrinkage of an ion exchange resin even in the initial stage of the regeneration so that a perfect fixed bed can be formed and turbid matter can be removed easily by a backwash operation.SOLUTION: A movable unit 10 comprising a butt strap 11, a plate 13 and a connecting body 12 is arranged on the upper side of a packed layer of an ion exchange resin 6 in an upflow regeneration type ion exchange resin column 1 in a column body 2 of which the packed layer of the ion exchange resin 6 is formed and the downflow circulating water is deionized. An opening 14 is arranged between the butt strap 11 and the plate 13 and an opening 15 is arranged in the upper part of the column body 2. |
