PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce quantity for evaluating correlation between transfer characteristics in each device pattern, and to determine a device configuration on the basis of this.SOLUTION: A transfer characteristic calculation part 1 calculates transfer characteristics between a microphone and a sound source about a microphone arrangement candidate consisting of the combination of all of the installation positions, angles and directivity of a plurality of microphones. A transfer characteristic correlation calculation part 2 calculates correlation between transfer characteristics about the microphone arrangement candidate related to the predetermined number of microphones. A frequency averaging part 3 frequency-averages the correlation between the transfer characteristics, and fixes the arrangement of the microphone sets related to the microphone arrangement candidate in which the correlation between the transfer characteristics is low. An optimal arrangement selection part 4 outputs the microphone arrangement candidate in which the correlation between the transfer characteristics is the lowest as the optimal microphone arrangement on the basis of the correlation between the transfer characteristics.
