<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft insertion nozzle for a water jet loom which can prevent a turbulent flow in the nozzle, and which thereby has such an excellent convergence property as to be capable of reducing the spreading of jetted water and significantly reducing the amount of water used.SOLUTION: An orifice part 20a1 for jetting water is located around the tip of a nozzle part of a yarn guide tube 20b. A fist annular water passage 22 is formed around the nozzle part of the yarn guide tube 20b on the upstream side of the orifice part. A second annular water passage 24 separated by an annular partition wall is formed on the outside of the first annular water passage. On the upstream side of the annular partition wall between both water passages, a plurality of water feed ports 23 are formed at prescribed intervals in a circumferential direction.</p> |
