PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of exhibiting a sealing function between the other end surface of a rotor and an inner end surface of a housing, and reducing an oil leakage quantity.SOLUTION: A rotor 4 includes: a cylindrical shaft portion 15 provided integrally on an inner circumference of one end surface with respect to a first annular concave portion 6, and extending axially along an outer circumference of a driving shaft 3; and a slide surface 4e formed on an inner circumference of the other end surface with respect to a second annular concave portion 7. An outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical shaft portion 15 is arranged slidably on an inner circumferential surface of a housing-side bearing hole 1f while the slide surface 4e is arranged slidably on an inner side surface 2b of one opposed sidewall of a cover 2. A notch groove 15c is formed in a root of the cylindrical shaft portion 15 to be continuous to a bottom surface 6a of the first annular concave portion 6, so that the first annular concave portion 6 is formed to have a larger pressure receiving area than a pressure receiving area of the second annular concave portion 7. |
