PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a sheet that is spread across the outside of a housing and the inside of the housing when defective conveyance of the sheet is detected.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a sheet conveyance member that conveys sheets inserted from the outside of a housing 10 along a sheet conveyance path, which extends via a secondary transfer position while forming a space S surrounded by an intermediate transfer belt 31, secondary transfer member 41, and fixing unit 60, and further continues to the outside of the housing via the fixing unit 60; a control unit that controls the conveyance of the sheets so that the sheets are stored in the space S except the situation where the sheets can be drawn from the outside of the housing 10; and a drawing member 80 that is attached to the housing 10 in an insertable and drawable manner to allow the take-out of the sheets stored in the space S. |
