PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation catheter for a renal artery capable of separating a heat element from a biological tissue without damaging the biological tissue as much as possible, and performing safe and appropriate ablation.SOLUTION: An ablation catheter 10 for being inserted into a renal artery RA to perform ablation of a renal sympathetic nerve RN from an inside of the renal artery RA, has an electrode part 31 that is disposed at a distal part of a shaft part 20 and comes in contact with an internal surface of the renal artery RA to apply thermal influence. In the electrode part 31, an uneven shape is formed on a surface to be in contact with the internal surface of the renal artery RA, and a difference of elevation of the uneven shape is changeable. |
