<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing niobic acid sol high in compatibility (mixing stability) with hydrophilic solvents.SOLUTION: A method of producing niobic acid sol is characterized by reducing the content of ammonia in ammonium niobate sol and using an amine compound as a dispersant, instead of ammonia, and includes a step of heating ammonium niobate sol in the presence of an amine compound. Alternatively, a method of producing niobic acid sol includes a step of washing ammonium niobate sol mixed with an inorganic acid to remove ammonia and heating in the presence of an amine compound.</p> |
