<p>The present invention relates to a sharpening device to sharpen a knife on a natural grinding rotating stone. The device using manual power can mount and replace the grinding stone with a new one when the grinding stone wears. The grinding stone should be cut in circles and processed because of its rotating movement. The present invention comprises: an adjusting unit to arbitrarily adjust the angle at a contact of the grinding stone and the knife; a constant pressure unit to press the knife with the constant pressure when the knife is grinded by contacting it to the stone; a height adjusting unit to adjust the height of the knife to facilitate the contact between the stone and the knife. According to the present invention, some portion of the stone is cut and processed using a cutting machine with hydrostatic pressure. The device is invented to arbitrarily adjust the angle when it contacts the stone. The device is invented to press the knife with constant pressure when it contacts the stone. The device is invented to easily make contact between the stone and the knife regardless of the width of the knife. The stone is rotated faster using gears with different number of gear wheels.</p> |
