A cigarette paper is shown that comprises pulp fibres and filler particles, with at least 50 wt pcnt , preferably at least 70 wt pcnt and more particularly at least 90 wt pcnt of the filler having a particle size distribution, measured in accordance with ISO 13320, whose distribution parameter p = d10+2-d30+2-d70-d90 is as follows: p = 5.0 mm, preferably p = 4.0 mm and more preferably p = 3.5 mm, and p = -1.0 mm, preferably p = 0.0 mm and more preferably p = 1.0 mm. |
