PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device capable of suppressing contamination of noise generated on a wire between battery packs into a monitoring circuit, and suppressing the monitoring circuit from malfunctioning.SOLUTION: A battery ECU 50 for monitoring a battery 10 configured so that stacks 11 and 12 each including a plurality of battery cells 15 connected in series are connected in series by an inter-stack wire 17, includes: monitoring ICs 21 and 22 each including a plurality of connection lines 36 connected either between the adjacent battery cells 15 or to end portions of the stack 11 or 12, and each detecting voltages of the battery cells 15 included in the predetermined stack 11 or 12; and a capacitor 33 having both ends connected to a first connection line 36a and a second connection line 36b, respectively out of the connection lines 36 included in the monitoring ICs 21 and 22. The first connection line 36a and the second connection line 36b are connected either between the battery cells 15 or to the end portions of the stack 11 or 12 while striding over at least one inter-stack wire 17. |
