PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container sterilization method that reduces a stop time of an electron beam irradiation device and enables a continuous operation.SOLUTION: An electron beam is irradiated to substantially identical surfaces F to be sterilized on the outer surfaces of containers B from a plurality of first upstream electron beam irradiation devices 21 and first downstream electron beam irradiation devices 22 installed on upstream and downstream sides of a container conveyance path L3 at predetermined intervals, and a total of electron beam output irradiated from the upstream electron beam irradiation devices 21 and the downstream electron beam irradiation devices 22 is controlled by a sterilization controller so as to sterilize the surfaces F to be sterilized of the containers B. |
