PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger plate by which a flat heat exchanger plate can be manufactured, and in which operability of a rotary tool is good and a degree-of-freedom of a design is high.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger plate including a preparation process in which a cover plate 3 is inserted into a cover groove 11 formed around a recessed groove 10 which opens on a surface 2a of a base member 2 and the base member 2 and the cover plate 3 are so fixed to a table K that front sides of both are projected, and a main joining process in which a rotary tool F for main joining, which is equipped with an agitation pin F2 along a binding portion J1 between side walls 11b, 11b of the cover groove 11 and side faces 3c, 3c of the cover plate 3, is relatively moved thereby performing frictional agitation is characterized in that in the main joining process, the rotated agitation pin F2 is inserted into the binding portion J1, and frictional agitation is performed in the state that only the agitation pin F2 is brought into contact with the base member 2 and the cover plate 3. |
