PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-view liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystal display device that includes a first polarization layer, a second polarization layer, a first substrate part, a second substrate part, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate part is provided between the first polarization layer and the second polarization layer, and includes: first and second light reflective pixel electrodes arranged on a first principal surface intersecting with a direction from the first polarization layer toward the second polarization layer; and an inter-pixel region between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode. The second substrate part is provided between the first substrate part and the second polarization layer, and includes a second principal surface on which a light-permeable counter electrode is provided. The liquid crystal layer is provided between the first principal surface and the second principal surface. At least part of first light passing through the second polarization layer, the liquid crystal layer and the inter-pixel region can enter the first polarization layer. |
