PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transportation of a connection film which is formed in such a manner that plural films containing an optical film having a relatively small toughness are connected to one another, by which the film can be continuously transported without occurrence of a failure such as splitting, cracking and breaking in said connection film, particularly a connection part.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for continuously transporting a connection film including a first film and a second film connected to the first film along a transportation route including at least a pair of nip rolls, in which at least one of the first film and the second film is an optical film having a Charpy impact strength less than 200 kJ/m, and the connection film has a first connection part which connects a longer direction terminal of the first film and a longer direction starting end of the second film. Said transportation method includes a process in which the nip roll is released when the first connection part passes the nip roll. |
