PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption type cool/hot water system that enables further improvement of operation efficiency.SOLUTION: An absorption type cool/hot water system 1 includes: a selector valve 31 arranged on a flow passage leading from a solar heat collector 11 to a heat storage tank 12; a bypass flow passage 32 for connecting a flow passage 22a for supplying a heating medium from the heat storage tank 12 to an absorption type cooler/heater 21 with the selector valve 31; a heat collector temperature sensor 33 for detecting a temperature of the heating medium from the solar heat collector 11; a heat storage tank temperature sensor 34 for detecting a temperature of the heating medium in the heat storage tank 12; and a system controller 36 that controls the selector valve 31, when a heating medium temperature detected by the heat collector temperature sensor 33 is higher than a heating medium temperature detected by the heat storage tank temperature sensor 34 by a prescribed temperature, to supply the heating medium from the solar heat collector 11 to a regenerator of the absorption type cooler/heater 21 through the bypass flow passage 32.
