FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for reduction of emissions of toxic substances with the exhausted gases. The method consists in regulation of power supply of spark plug (SP) of diesel engine in view of at least two parameters, for example the rotation speed and fuel consumption. Also the switching on and off of one or several SPs depending on engine parameters, for example, combustion chamber temperature is provisioned.
