PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write once read many (WORM) file system in which the time required for update and the volume of a storage are improved.SOLUTION: When mounting a storage in a file system, files that are already present at the mounting and files created after the mounting are dealt with as different groups. The files as objects to be recorded are each divided into file metadata (index) and a file main body and are recorded on different storage areas, that is, an index partition (IP) and a data partition (DP), in association with each other. A WORM file system is implemented by rejecting a request to update or delete a file that is present at the mounting as a WORM file and permitting update or deletion of a file that is created after the mounting until unmounting. |
