摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a microorganism fuel battery arranged to have an increased electric charge transfer density with the aid of microorganism attached to inside the electrode in addition to the surface thereof, and arranged to have a high-efficiency power generating performance by increasing the density of microorganism on the surface of the electrode.SOLUTION: An electrode for a microorganism fuel battery including a pair of electrodes (i.e. a negative electrode 3 and a positive electrode 5), a diaphragm 4, a reaction tank 1 with an electrolytic solution 2 held therein, and an external circuit 6 electrically connected with the pair of electrodes comprises a conductive material of a three dimensional structure as a base. The electrode has pores inside the base or on at least part of the surface thereof. The pores have an average pore size (Rave) of more than 150μm to 1.5 cm.</p>
