<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which can protect a switching element from thermal failure due to overcurrent and when an abnormal condition of a load is dissolved, release a halting state of a circuit and activate an induction heating operation.SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises: a rectifier 2 for rectifying a commercial power supply 1; a smoothing circuit 3 for smoothing the rectified output; a first heating coil L1 with first capacitances C1 being connected in parallel with each other; a second heating coil L2 with second capacitances C2 being connected in parallel with each other; a first switching element Q1 for driving the first heating coil L1 by switching; and a second switching element Q2 for driving the second heating coil L2 by switching. When a comparator detects excessive negative current, first and second control signals are blocked and induction heating operations of the first and second switching elements are halted.</p> |
