<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fit terminal that can maintain a contact load against a through-hole even though a press-fitting part is press-fitted into the through-hole in a state where a press-fitting position is shifted.SOLUTION: A press fit terminal 1 comprises a terminal main body part 10 and a press-fitting part 20 that is press-fitted into a through-hole 4 of a circuit board 3, where the press-fitting part has a pair of elastic pressure-contacting parts 21 that are arranged so as to sandwich an opening part 24 as a bent space formed along the press-fitting direction thereof and a connection part 22 that connects base end parts of the pair of elastic pressure-contacting parts to a tip end of the terminal main body part. The terminal main body part has a slit 11 formed along the press-fitting direction, and the connection part has a pair of divided parts 25. The pair of divided parts have respectively abutting surfaces 25a which allow the divided parts to be positionally shifted relatively in the press-fitting direction while maintaining an abutting state each other at a position where the parts are cut off when the elastic pressure-contacting parts are press-fitted into the through-hole.</p> |
