PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing leakage of exhaust gas due to ununiformity of flow rate of cooling air in the surrounding of an exhaust tube in sampling of exhaust gas using an open type exhaust gas sampling part.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas sampling device comprises an exhaust gas sampling part 2 having an exhaust gas sampling port 2a disposed so as to face an exhaust gas discharge port EHa of an exhaust tube EH and for sampling the exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust gas discharge port EHa and surrounding gas in the surrounding of the exhaust tube EH. The exhaust gas sampling part 2 has a catch reduction structure 2x for reducing catching of the exhaust gas by the surrounding gas flowing from the exhaust gas sampling port 2a and flowing to outside from the exhaust gas sampling port 2a.
