<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a letterpress for printing of a can whereby an image pattern having a high definition can be stably printed on a can with a good accuracy.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a letterpress 40 for printing of a can which has a dot part 41, on which multiple projection bodies 41 are provided, a part 42 other than the dot part on an image part 50 to which an ink is adhered, includes: a process in which the dot part 41 in the image part 50 is engraved with laser beam; and a process in which the part 42 in the image part 50 other than the dot part is engraved with laser beam. In the process in which the part 42 other than the dot part is engraved with laser beam, the part 42 other than the dot part is so engraved with laser beam that a height of the part 42 becomes a height Hcorresponding to a height Hof the dot part 41 after the engraving with laser beam.</p> |
