For portable capacitive touch panels used in an environment where the touch panels are touched by people, it is important that metal electrodes are not detached or disconnected. However, in case of touch panel integrated products in which the perimeter boundary is fixated by a housing, for instance if a user holds one end of the housing, stress is intensified on the metal electrode, especially from the perimeter boundary, and the metal electrode may be detached or disconnected . The touch panel detects using electrode X (6) and electrode Y (7) each formed by a set patterning on the surface of the side where the user operates by touch and on the back side of the surface of an insulating material (1); electrode X (6) and electrode Y (7) are touch panels which comprises a laminated structure of metal layers (4, 5) containing electroless plating metal layers (4a, 5a) formed by electroless plating on bonding layers (2, 3), and bonding layers (2, 3) containing catalyst components representing the core of electroless plating. |
