<p>The present invention relates to an advertisement providing method based on a smart TV capable of providing emotionally appealing advertisements. According to the present invention, the method includes: a first step in which the smart TV receives packetized broadcast contents and advertisement tag contents from a broadcast content server through a broadcast communication network to implement the broadcast contents through streaming in broadcast transmission frame units; a second step of separating the broadcast contents and the advertisement tag contents according to a user′s selection to play only the broadcast contents or play both of the broadcast contents and the advertisement tag contents at the same time on a UI screen; and a third step of calling the advertisement tag contents matching the corresponding frames to selectively provide the advertisement tag contents for the user when an explicit advertisement conversion request is received from the user while implementing the broadcast contents with or without advertisement contents. Accordingly, the present invention can selectively implement advertisements included in the broadcast contents based on the user′s selection while implementing the broadcast contents. The present invention can also enables the user to easily obtain the information regarding an advertisement subject from a broadcast content through supporting quick selection and intuitive implementation upon receiving an explicit advertisement request from the user, thereby enabling a a smooth transition to a purchasing process.</p> |
