PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which a tensile force of an inner layer which constitutes a band layer and a tensile force of an outer layer are equalized and of which a high-speed durability performance is enhanced.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has a band layer 9 which is disposed on a tire radial direction outer side of the belt layer 7. The band layer 9 is formed in such a manner that a band strip 9A having a small width, in which a band cord arrangement body 10 comprising juxtaposed plural band cords 13, 14 is coated with a topping rubber 15, is wound on the outer side of the belt layer 7. A band strip 9A is wound with a helical pitch smaller than a width of the hand strip 9A, and consequently, the band layer 9 has an inner band cord group 9B which is positioned on a tire radial direction inner side and an outer band cord group 9C which is positioned on the tire radial direction outer side. An absolute value of a difference To - Ti between a twisting number Ti of an inner band cord 9b and a twisting number To of an outer band cord 9c is 0.2% or less than the twisting number Ti of the inner band cord 9b. |
