PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire manufacturing method that can manufacture a pneumatic tire having further improved steering stability by applying tension over the whole area of a carcass cord in a post-cure inflation process, and to provide a post-cure inflation apparatus.SOLUTION: After a green tire that includes a carcass layer TC comprising organic fiber cords and a belt layer TB arranged on an outer peripheral side of the carcass layer TC is vulcanized in a vulcanization mold, a cylindrical restriction body 8 is arranged on an outer peripheral side of a crown part C of the vulcanized tire T taken out from the vulcanization mold. The expansion of the crown part C is restricted by the restriction body 8, and, in a state of allowing the expansion of other parts of the vulcanized tire T, the vulcanized tire T is cooled while inflating it. |
